Circular walk from Newent to Acorn Wood, Clifford’s Mesne, May Hill along the Geopark Way, back to Newent via Glasshouse and Brook Farm. Picnic lunch.

Up Bredon Hill to the Belt, over to Shaldon Farm and down to Conderton for a pub  lunch at the Yew Tree Inn. Short walk back after lunch via Overbury and Kemerton. A circular walk from Beckford, only one hill rising up to Shalden Farm, then  returning through Overbury and Kemerton back to Beckford. Distance dependent on any flooding on the day.  Picnic lunch.

Some climbing on the lower half of Bredon Hill above and below Beckford Coppice  to Beckford Nature Reserve. Time to observe wildlife before heading back to the Yew Tree inn.   Pub lunch.

This is a tribute walk for Colin in the beautiful Wyre Forest. Two steady climbs, but otherwise easy going with potential for mud. Via Ribbesford, Worcestershire Way, Park End, Wyre Forest, Ruskinland, Knowles Mill, River Severn and Bewdley for afternoon tea stop.  Picnic lunch.

Walking the Wessex White Horses No 6. Hackpen Circular Walk - 05/05/2019 9-00

Minibus leaves Morrisons at 0900  Long walk in a clockwise direction, along The Ridgeway, The Gallops to Rockley,  continuing towards Flyfield Down, picking up the White Horse Trail to Hackpen, then back to car park.   Shorter walk as above, but turning west before Rockley, to Rockley Down and Hackpen, then back to the car park.  Picnic lunch for both walks.   After walk a Meal in restaurant at The Bayberry, Swindon.

Walk along Sharpness Canal from Splatt Bridge to Saul Junction.  Coffee stop at very nice cafe or bring your own. Cross canal to Saul Church onto Thames and Severn Way along river and across fields to Frampton Park beside large lake and through sailing club back to Frampton. Very easy going – totally flat walk.  Picnic lunch. Start of walk – southern end of Frampton on Severn.
