Starting at Dymock Church we see the first daffodil meadow ‘Veil Mill on  Poets  Path, then on to Ryton, Cutmill and Ketford passing Callow Farm conservation area and Ketford Nature Reserve. Mostly easy walking. Possible tea and cakes in church after.  Picnic lunch.

From the St Paul’s Epistle car park we descend through Upper Dowdeswell to  Andoversford. Then via Lower Dowdeswell and then passing an iron age settlement. Possible pub lunch.  Meet leader at the  start.

This is a tribute walk for Colin in the beautiful Wyre Forest. Two steady climbs, but otherwise easy going with potential for mud. Via Ribbesford, Worcestershire Way, Park End, Wyre Forest, Ruskinland, Knowles Mill, River Severn and Bewdley for afternoon tea stop.  Picnic lunch.

A walk up Bredon Hill above Kersoe and Elmley Castle, returning on the Wychavon  Way. Pub lunch at the Star Inn.  Meet leaders at start.

Walking the Wessex White Horses No 6. Hackpen Circular Walk - 05/05/2019 9-00

Minibus leaves Morrisons at 0900  Long walk in a clockwise direction, along The Ridgeway, The Gallops to Rockley,  continuing towards Flyfield Down, picking up the White Horse Trail to Hackpen, then back to car park.   Shorter walk as above, but turning west before Rockley, to Rockley Down and Hackpen, then back to the car park.  Picnic lunch for both walks.   After walk a Meal in restaurant at The Bayberry, Swindon.

Walk along Sharpness Canal from Splatt Bridge to Saul Junction.  Coffee stop at very nice cafe or bring your own. Cross canal to Saul Church onto Thames and Severn Way along river and across fields to Frampton Park beside large lake and through sailing club back to Frampton. Very easy going – totally flat walk.  Picnic lunch. Start of walk – southern end of Frampton on Severn.

Walk through Hermitage Woods to Breakheart Quarry and Waterley Bottom. Back  along the Cotswold Way to Tyndale Monument.    Picnic lunch. Meet leader at start.
